Transfer conditions: the domain status is normal, the registrant ID is valid, there are no disputes or arrears. Domains involved in theft or disputes are prohibited from transferring in; otherwise we may transfer the domain back based on the losing registrar's appeal.
After transfer, the registration term increases by one year (except .cn.com/.gs/.cx/.hk etc.). If the domain was renewed less than 45 days after expiration, the term will not increase. We recommend waiting 45 days or confirming refund policy with the original registrar.
If the domain has already reached the maximum renewal term (usually 10 years), it cannot be transferred.
After successful transfer, log in to the Member Center -> Domain Management to update contact info or reset the domain password.
DNS resolution will not be affected during the transfer process.
If your current registrar restricts or refuses the transfer, you may file a complaint. International complaint URL: http://www.icann.org/en/resources/compliance/complaints/transfer/form . China complaint email: supervise@cnnic.cn, phone: 010-58813000.
